What is a HEPA filter?
HEPA is a standard that was initially developed for the aerospace industry. Nowadays, it represents an excellent indication of filtration. HEPA is an acronym, meaning High Efficiency Particulate Air, and has various classifications. For people that have respiratory problems and/or allergies, getting a vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter is a clever move, as research has shown that HEPA filters on vacuum cleaners are better at blocking pollen, allergens and fine dust particles.
